FROM THE WEST
HISTORICAL CONTEXT — Will’s research places Alexander’s movement eastward against the Persian imperial world. Jerusalem was one part of that larger Persian setting as Macedonian and Greek power moved into territories Persia had ruled.
THE RAM FALLS
HISTORICAL CONTEXT — The research follows Alexander’s victories over Persian power and his eventual entry into Babylon. Persian peoples did not disappear; the imperial supremacy above them changed.
THE HORN BREAKS
HISTORICAL CONTEXT — Alexander dies while still young. The research compares this transition with Daniel’s vision of the great horn being broken while strong, while keeping the historical identification visibly separate from the wording of the biblical vision.
